USAPassports provides a professional passport expediting service. Because a portion of every order is paid out immediately to courier partners, photo processing, and transaction processors, refund eligibility depends on the stage your application has reached. This policy explains what is refundable at each stage and how to request a refund.
Start a cancellation or refund request at any time via our self-service refund portal. You will receive a confirmation email, a summary of what can be refunded given your order's current stage, and — when applicable — a voided-check upload link so any government fees held on your behalf can be returned by check.
Most decisions are finalised within one business day. Refunds to the original payment method typically post within 3–10 business days depending on your bank.
Once your passport has been issued by the U.S. Department of State and your packet has been returned to you, the service has been performed in full and the service fee is no longer refundable. A partial goodwill refund may still be available at our discretion for extraordinary circumstances.
If you dispute a charge directly with your bank before contacting us, we may be unable to issue additional refunds on the same transaction and may hold corresponding government-fee amounts pending dispute resolution.
